The name 'Jaima' represents the Indian Goddess who rides the
lion and her enduring qualities are strength, power and stability. It
symbolises the union of Jacinta and Mahesh.
Finding life partner with the same interest and a spiritual understanding of
life gives the right type of energy to the Jaima-Heart of Healing
Holistic Medical Centre. This spiritual philisophy of life we would
like to share with the people in today's society and everybody can achieve it
with the support and guidance of Jaima.
Jaima offers a range of complementary therapies to guide you towards the
ultimate goal of discovering physical and spiritual and harmony in life. Our
objective is to combine modalities that work synergistically to provide
quality health care.
Jaima have implemented colour therapy principles in their consulting rooms to
accomodate the needs of their clients.
Vata and Pitta room - sea green to calm the fire of pitta and balance vata.
Kapha room - creamy honey exerts a stimulating effect.
Jaima's main focus is Reiki, Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine,
Naturopathy, Nutrition, Flower Essences, Ayurvedic Metaphysical Counselling,
Lifestyle Management and Stress Management.
Jaima also offers Reiki (Certified) and Massage courses.
Meet the Practitioners at Jaima
Jacinta K
Jacinta has a passion for the subtle healing powers of nature. She has a
deep respect for Eastern traditional healing systems such as Ayurveda,
Traditional Chinese Medicine and Reiki. She has completed Bachelor of Arts
degree with studies in psychology, sociology and literature which provide a
deep insight into the human psyche. On her spiritual journey to India she met
Reiki Master Rajinder Kumar who taught her the ancient healing art of Reiki.
"I personally believe that Reiki is a blessing and I want to share my
gift with others."
Jacinta graduated as a Naturopath from Melbourne College
of Natural Medicine.
Here is what she has to say-
A few years ago I decided to follow my heart
& study Naturopathy. "True Healing is like a life spring that dwells
within and wells up inside. You have to find your own point of stillness and
listen to the gentle whisperings of your inner voice"-Jacinta Kalra.
Over the last few years I have devoted this time to our children. Motherhood
is an immense time of physical & emotional change. As a Naturopath & Reiki
Master I have put my knowledge and skills into practice. Reiki is a wonderful
first aid tool. True healing at your fingertips. You do not become a Reiki
Master, you are always becoming a Reiki Master in a process of growth,
finding wholeness and spiritual evolution. I have been on my own personal
healing journey.
My healing approach is based on integrity and
compassion. I listen to your personal healing story with wisdom, warmth and
insight. I am passionate about exploring the metaphysical causes of dis-ease.
Mahesh K
Reiki master, Acupuncturist, Naturopath and Doctor of
Ayurvedic Medicine, Mahesh has over 16 years experience as a healer in the
complementary health profession. In India, he practised as a G.P. in the
hospitals of New Delhi. He completed his Acupuncture and Naturopath degree in
Australia from the Melbourne College of Natural Medicine.
Mahesh completed his Reiki Master Degree in India from
Institute of Joyful Living and practiced in the Himalayas. He feels
passionate about combining Ayurvedic Medicine with Reiki and Acupuncture,
three ancient art of healing systems on the physical and spiritual levels. He
believes in helping people to achieve their ultimate goal of emotional and
physical balance.
Mahesh is a registered member of Chinese Medicine Board
of Victoria (as everybody should know Acupuncture is registered in Victoria).
He is also provisional member of AACMA (Australian Acupuncture and Chinese
Medicine Association) and a Practitioner Member of AAA (Australasian
Association of Ayurveda) in Australia. He is also a registered member of ATMS
(Australian Traditional Medicine Society).
Mahesh has been practicing all these three ancient
healing systems in Malvern East (Melbourne) since Dec. 2000 from Jaima-Heart of Healing
Holistic Medical Centre.
